| So are you there?Does life take you for a loop or do you eat fruit loops for breakfeast?Do you do you circle or spin when you're confused?Do you hate or lothe what is Evil?Do you cry or sob when an innocent clown is mugged on the streets? Is it better to hate or not to care?Do you share or do you give? Are you alive or do you live?-Peter? | | |
| So has a year really passed. And have the seasons gone? Has Time's stream trickled by, or instead like a rapid picked up speed with each moment? Do we fully appreciate this passing shadow that we call life? Making each moment special in this vapor of fading time? Will we look back as all has turned gray to see the colorful sunset that our lives have been to others, or will it be nothing but a gray and colorless sky filled with meaninglessness? Only in Him do we find those answers and do we wade through this stream of time, knowing that when we slip and fall, He is there to pick us up. Yes a year has gone by faster than the one before, but only because it builds upon all the ones before, causing us to go ever higher if we dare. -Peter | | |
| I was just thinking about a conversation I had with a friend and all the things that had happened this last year. It seem to be a year, for me anyway of God maturing me though tough places. Places where I have to choose to "hold on" or "let go" of something. And so many times if we decide to hold on to what has been in the past something good and Normal but have now outgrown, we lose what God has planed for us. So he puts us into a new place where we find ourselves uncomfortable and we have to let go in order to step forward. It's during these times of fire and shaking that we really let go of the things we thought would stand in hard times, and grab hold of the true Rock that we have in Jesus. So that when all the dust and smoke have cleared away we find only that which we have placed into His trust has really stood. And we walk on a little dusty and dirty, but wiser and stronger in who we are in God, we find that we are becoming the men and women that God has destined us to be. The Apostle Peter wrote that we should rejoice when trials and tribulation come our way for they produce in us eternal fruit. Because in trails we learn patiance, long suffering but most importantly we find that our faith is strengthened and refined. -Peter
P.S. Now for a funny not so mature picture
